I wouldn’t call these past two months a hiatus, nor would I call this a comeback. Tomorrow I might wake up and say “Screw it all”.
This is however, an opportunity for a fresh start.

I See London, I See France…

Is fashionably to wear a sheer outfit that shows your underwear underneath? I’m thinking yes. But some people just aren’t down with transparency.
So showing underwear, cheap or chic?

I love the look and texture of paint, especially in black and white.
Zip It Up

I’m loving zippers lately, in normal and unusal places.

Even though it’s the summer of 2009 I am still trying my best to dress as bad ass as I can. I’m still rocking combat boots, smudgy pitch black eye liner, and electric blue nail polish. Freja Beha is one of my style icons, and I still think Alexander Wang F/W 0809 is one of the best collections to come out of New York in years. In fact that collection really added more grunge and punk elements to the hipster movement. So props to Alexander for truly being a trend setter, and changing fashion.

I’ll continue to add more chains, more skulls, and recently more weapons to my wardrobe and accessories.

Cause that’s what I like.

Okay, so I lied. The second I posted that I would be on a two week hiatus, I immediately felt guilty. I’ve been meaning to do this post for while now anyway.
I’m really into weapons as accessories right now. I think this obsession started with the Chanel Cruise gun shoes (above), and truly took off with the razor blades necklace in Vogue Paris (below). I’m searching for the perfect gun or knife pendant.

I’m still in love with studs and spikes as well. Studs are everywhere now, the style.com accessory report was full of them. As long as they’re done with a punkĀ edge I’ll stay faithful to them. I really want one of the Tory Burch F/W 09 bags. Who knew Tory had a hard edge?

Spikes are staying slightly lower on the radar. I’m loving the arm bracelets in the photo below from Pop magazine.
